How Do I…
Get a library card
Sign up at the front desk or online with this form. Bring a photo ID or another accepted document to verify your address.
If you aren’t able to verify your address, a temporary library card can be issued.
Children 5 and older can get their own library cards. Out-of-state residents are welcome to apply for a card with a yearly fee.
Request Materials From Other Libraries
Somerset cardholders can request items from any MORE library. Available copies typically arrive in 7 days.
Options for placing a hold:
· In Person: Ask a librarian at the front desk.
· By Phone: Call us at 715-247-5228.
· Online: Log in to your MORE account, find your item in the catalog, and click “Place Hold.”
Renew Checked Out Items
Options:
· In Person: Use the self-check terminals at the library.
· By Phone: Call us at 715-247-5228.
· Online: Log into your MORE account, go to “My Library Dashboard”, select “Checkouts”, and click “Renew” next to the item.
You can renew an item up to two times. Please keep in mind that if another patron has placed a hold on the item, renewal will not be possible.
Utilize E-books
There are thousands of digital books available to check out through the Wisconsin Digital Library. You can use the resources online or download and install software or an app to use these digital resources. For more information visit: https://www.overdrive.com/apps/libby
Pay Library Fees
To use your library card, fees must be under $10.
Options:
· In Person: You can pay in cash or check at the library
· Online: You can pay with a credit card online at more.lib.wi.us.
Log in to my MORE Account
Log into your MORE Account using your library barcode or username and your 4-digit pin. If you have not set a pin, MORE will prompt you to create one.
